Rental Policies
| • | The rental fee(s) for tables, chairs, tablecloths, chair covers, chair bows, and dishes does NOT include set up these items, unless it is requested by the client and the client pays a set up fee. |
| • | When our company considers that the client might be a high risk liability to our products, we reserve the right to refuse further service and any rental fees will be returned (except delivery if already initiated). |
| • | Full payment is to be paid at reservation. |
| • | The client must pay for the repair &/or costs of the equipment for any damage to or loss regardless of cause while it is in the client’s possession. |
| • | Our tablecloths, napkins, and chair covers/bows are either brand new or in like new condition. If the client returns any linens that are no longer reusable for rental, the client will be charged the FULL SALE PRICE. NO EXCEPTIONS. |
| • | There are no refunds of events/parties cancelled in less than 7 days from the party date, see below and contract for full terms. |
| • | We highly advise you to pre-order all the food and machine fluids needed to keep your event/party successful. If you call to order “emergency supplies” of food or machine fluids, you will be charged a minimum delivery fee of $15 plus the cost of your items, NO EXCEPTIONS. |
| • | All rentals are for a duration of 2 hours, however you may be offered, at no additional charge, a longer rental period. |
| • | Should any equipment malfunction or require repair, the client shall immediately cease using the equipment and notify Just-4-Fun. If such condition is the result of normal operation; Just-4-Fun will repair or replace the equipment with similar equipment in working order if such replacement equipment is available at that moment; otherwise Just-4-Fun will terminate any rental charges accruing after the time of equipment failure. |
| • | All equipment is checked before delivery and delivered in good working condition. In no event shall Just-4-Fun be responsible to the client or any other party for any equipment malfunction while it is in use. The client assumes all risks inherent in the operation, use, malfunction and possession of the equipment until the equipment is picked up. |
REFUND POLICY: Just-4-Fun Party Rentals requires seven (7) full days for cancellation of any rentals with a full refund. If you cancel in less than 7 days payment is non-refundable, however if you give us at least 24 hours notice (over the phone) we will help you to reschedule your rentals for another day (valid for 30 days). If you cancel the day of your event, there is no refund.
The reason we have these policies: When you reserve any rented item, we can no longer rent that item. We may get calls for the items you rented and had to turn away potential renters because we are renting to you. Just-4-Fun is a small event rental company, and does not have unlimited inventory. In addition if we have already booked your event and loaded your items into the van(s), there is no chance for us to re-rent your items in less than 24 hours and we cannot reschedule our delivery routes with such short notice.
There are no-refunds on any party items pre-purchased (unless damaged).
If we deliver or pick up items and you are not at the location (delivery) or access is not available, we will give you a chance to re-schedule based on our delivery schedule. However, if we are unable to re-deliver your items or cannot pick up items until the following day, you will be charged the daily rental rate and may be charged an overnight fee (see rental contract for full details).
DAMAGE: All items are thoroughly inspected for damage and will be in perfect working condition at time of rental. Renter is allowed time to inspect all items before signing the rental contract. Renter agrees to be responsible for all rented items while in their possession (including theft and accidental damage). If items are returned broken or damaged, renter agrees to pay for all repairs to return item to working condition (see contract for details) this may include the cost of the rented daily rate for each day the items is inoperable. **See above notes on linens.
CLEANING: All items rented are thoroughly inspected for damage and cleanliness prior to your rental. By renting items from Just-4-Fun all renters agree to return items swept/wiped clean. There are no fees for items returned in basic clean condition.
Traditionally there are no hidden fees or extra fees that are not fully disclosed to you upon rental of your party rental items. The following statement is only applied in highly unusual circumstances.
*This policy is applied only when absolutely necessary: In the event that you elect to return any items soiled, wet, or otherwise unclean there is a minimum cleaning fee of $50. If inflatable items are soiled with water (extensively), alcohol or mud, the item will need to be cleaned at another location. In this instance, there is a non-refundable cleaning fee of up to $350 based upon the following: renter will be charged at a daily rate each day that is needed to repair or clean the rented item, in addition to labor and materials for cleaning the item(s). Labor rates are set at $20 per hour per person plus the cost of materials and travel expenses.
DELIVERY TERMS: All jumpers and games are fully set-up upon delivery. All other items are “curbside” unless you have paid an additional fee for our team to set-up your party. “Curbside” means we deliver and pick up items ordered from the nearest location where our driver can load your items easily in and out of the delivery van. There is a minimum delivery fee for all items ordered unless you are also renting a jumper or party package, inwhich case the basic area delivery fee is built into the price.
You will always be given a 2-3 hour window for delivery and pick up. We cannot guarantee an exact time, this is near impossible. However, for an additional fee (ie. weddings and special events) we can narrow your window within 30 minutes. This time window is not guaranteed unless you have paid an additional fee specifically called “Exact Time Delivery” on your rental contract.
We do not offer pick-ups from our office to avoid the delivery fee. The delivery fees are: $25 downtown, $35 Goleta (or greater SB), $35-45 Montecito/Summerland, and $45 Carpinteria or Goleta (past Fairview), SY Valley $75-85, Ventura $55-75.
If you are renting items from our service, you agree to keep all items secure until the delivery driver has arrived, otherwise you risk being liable for theft or damage of rented items.
USE OF RENTAL ITEMS: Your rental contract includes a waiver of liability. What this means is that you, the renter/client, are responsible for not only the care of the items rented, but also for the safety of the people using the rented items.
We are not insured and do not carry liability insurance that covers the well being of you, your family, or friends while using the rented items on your property or any other location. We suggest you follow all instructions, watch your guests, have parents watch their own children, provide ride attendants, concession attendants, and follow all recommended saftey guidelines as published by the manufacturer on the equipment.
Do not allow small children to be at or near concession machines. Keep all installed safety equipment and cones in place at all times. Read jumper rules as posted by the manufacturer on the inflatable unit. Keep children and water away from the blower or any lighting equipment. Keep a safe distance from any nightclub equipment/DJ equipment. Do not move any equipment from the original installed location. Most importantly, use common sense.
BALLOONS/PRODUCTS All items delivered are non-returnable unless damage is detected before acceptance. What this means is if we deliver your balloons or party supplies and you accept the condition and quantity, by signing our agreement, then after that point we cannot offer you a refund for the product(s). It is impossible for us to know if you misplaced your order, balloons flew away or popped, etc. if you complain after the fact.
